Also posted for trade / sale here:

The time has come to take a break from mtbing (mostly due to a continually fractured / non union scaphoid). We are moving to an area with expansive fire and gravel roads so to take advantage of this I'd like to swap out my Stache 9 for a cross bike of equal or near equal value. You can find more information on my CL post here:

Essentially- the bike is size L / 19.5 and has just under 800 miles on it total. Good to great condition overall- typical small scrapes, rubs, and minor brushes from vegetation, trail surface, etc. The stock Chupacabra tires probably have around 30-35% life remaining. Specs:

Trek 2016 Stache 9 29 MTB- size 19.5"
Wheels: Custom Kokopelli Bikes built carbon 29x3" wheels (fits 2.8-3.25" tires). Hubs- Boost 148/110- DT Swiss 350 hubs
SRAM X1 drivetrain
29 x 3.0-inch Bontrager Chupacabra 29 tires - 50% life remaining.
Stranglehold dropout gives options 29 , 27.5 , or 29er.
Manitou Magnum Pro fork, 110mm travel
Shimano Deore XT brakes
Bontrager carbon seat post.
Specialized Henge sport saddle.
Salsa Bend Bar 2 Handlebar 23Deg Sweep, 710Mm Width
Ergon GS2 Grips.
Crank Bros eggbeater pedals

Looking for a 55-57cm cross / gravel bike in good condition. Willing to drive up to a couple of hours from the Northern VA area to meet if interested. If someone wants to buy the bike outright asking price is 2,000 OBO- no shipping please.
