This Duo was custom built for me in 2003 by Seven Cycles. I am 5' 10.5", 170 pounds, with fairly average torso length and inseam. It should fit most riders 5' 8" to 6'.

The wheels were custom built for me by Dave Thomas at Speed Dream. They use King Hubs, with 32 three cross lacing on the rear and a mix of 32 three cross lacing on the braking side and 32 one cross lacing on the non-brake side for the front. They are quite light but stiff and have proven very durable.

The rear suspension is the Maverick Monolink, also used on the Maverick ML-7 and Klein Palomino. The suspension design offers incredible traction while climbing, is completely bob-free, and descends well for a cross country/trail bike. The shock was serviced recently and has always been trouble free.

The front fork is a Marzocchi Bomber Marathon ETA fork. It has 100mm travel which can be reduced to 30mm for really efficient climbing. It is fully adjustable (rebound, compression, preload) and was recently serviced.

The bike uses a mix of XTR and XT drivetrain. The front and rear derailleurs, cluster, cranks, bottom bracket and chainrings are all XTR, the shifters are XT triggers. The hydraulic brakes are XT (brand new).

Pedals are not included.
