Large (19.5) 2017 Trek Stache 9.8 29 mountain bike. Bike probably has about 500 miles on it, if that. It is in excellent condition. I do not see and scratches or nicks on the frame. The frame has protective clear tape in numerous places on the frame to protect from rocks, heel rub, cable rub, etc. The carbon rims have a few nicks and scratches from rocks but nothing a normal, lightly used mountainbike wouldn't have.

The bike is mostly stock except for the following. The fork is the stock rockshox Pike fork but I put stealth black decals over the red decals. The Sram pressfit bottom bracket was replaced with a Chris King pressfit bottom bracket. The Sram Guide brakes were scrapped for the more reliable Shimano XT brakes. A XX1 XG-1099 cassette was put on to lighten up the rear wheel a little. Tires are set up tubeless and tires just received a refresh of stans fluid.

I really don't want to see this bike go but my trail bike gets more use when I actually have the time to ride and I need the extra money. This is a great bike and has been well taken care of. Retail was $4800. These are sold out everywhere and the 2018 stache does not come with carbon wheels. Selling for $4000 or best offer.

Pedals and bottle cages are NOT included. I do have an extra set of tires (Bontrager Chupacabra), brand new Sram 30T chainring, and a brand new XX1 chain that I can throw in if the price is right or for additional $. Tires are set up tubeless but (2)-29 tubes will be included.

Email me with any questions. Bike is being sold as local pickup only. I really don't want to deal with trying to shove a plus bike in a bike box. I am willing to meet halfway within a few hours if price is right. Bike location is Atlanta GA

Stache is an all-new species of 29 mountain bike performance. The wide 3" tires grip relentlessly, amplifying all the benefits of 29ers, while remarkably short chainstays deliver a fun, lively ride.

Want the capability of a full suspension trail bike in a simple hardtail package, plus the extra benefits of 29 tires? Then you were born to ride the Stache.
