Description:
You can read my thorough review of the bike on Vital MTB, but this is quite possibly the best all mountain bike I've owned to date. I am a mountain bike instructor and ex-mechanic, and have ridden many, many bikes - but as far as inspiring confidence and being quite literally maintenance-free, this bike takes the cake.

Geometry and info from Knolly can be found here: https://www.knollybikes.com/wardencarbon

I have been curious about Knolly since their early days, but this is the first time I've owned one. I was admittedly skeptical given the different design philosophy employed by Knolly, but I ate my words...the bike's suspension is so effective it makes other rigs feel constipated by comparison. You can really tell that the Knolly guys ride hard, and understand that when riding on the edge, traction is the single most important asset to the rider. The rear wheel on this bike finds grip where it simply shouldn't, and the support through the full stroke of the suspension is excellent. The frame is quite progressive, so while I prefer the 'pop' provided by a good air shock, running a coil would work very well and plenty of riders have done it.

The bike has been meticulously cared for, and has lived in my dedicated bike shop room off of my garage (yeah, it's awesome having a girlfriend who let's me do this...). I'm selling because I'm buying a downhill bike again, and want to get a shorter travel bike that is more suited to trail riding rather than being a centered all arounder.
