Description:
I purchased this bike lamp from Amazon.com on 06/30/2013. A week after I purchased the Philips SafeRide I ordered a TaskLed Lflex custom driver from George. It has approximately 30 hours of use and is in like new condition all around. It uses a standard MagicShine external 8.4 volt lithium-ion pack with a 20awg 5.5mm x 2.1mm connector. I want to sell this so I can purchase a Lupine SL-A which costs about $300 without a battery pack. I have a second modified SafeRide which I have used for hundred and hundreds of hours.

The stock SafeRide only produces 15 lux on low. On high it produces about 80 lux. My modified version draws 150ma on low and measures 27 lux (which is a little brighter than a street light). On medium it draws 500ma producing 78 lux. On high it draws 975ma producing 126 lux. A 5200mAh 2s2p battery pack will last for over 30 hours on low and about 10 hours on medium. It is more powerful and more efficient than the stock version.
