1995 Bontrager Privateer Comp 17"

This is a great little trail bike and in excellent shape as you can see in the pics. The non-drive side seat stay does have some paint scrapes and I have pictured that so you can see that finish item. The frame does have the rubber seatpost clamp seal but the chainsuck plate was not there when I bought the bike so if you want that you would need to source it.

Here is the spec:

Saddle and seatpost - Bontrager

Brakes - Shimano XT levers and V-brakes

Stem/Bars/Grips - Bontrager gusseted stem/True Temper chromoly steel bar/Lock-on grips

Overall this is an awesome bike and excellent example of a Bontrager Privateer. I have owned many Bontragers over the years ranging form the early square frame OR bikes to Race Lites and various Privateers and a Ti-Lite. I can tell you that the Privateer rides just like the other contemporary Race, Race Lites, and Ti-Lites. In a nutshell as a tight woods trail bike they are one of the most agile bikes I have owned and ridden.
