Vintage 90's era Ibis Mojo Mountain Bike (modernized with disc brakes & modern components)

This Ibis Mojo frame was hand-made in Sebastopol with their "Moron" Prestige Chromoly steel. It was originally made in the 90's and then modernized by Sycip (well-respected custom shop) adding rear disc brake mount & hose bosses, removing cantilever brake bosses, and then repainted in the Ibis original "Eddy Orange" color. I found this gem in 2015 and I then went to work on it... I love building bikes!

There are two small scrapes on frame. Email for pics, as mtbr only allows a few pics.

Frame specs, as close as I can measure by eye:
Top tube, from center of head tube to center of seat tube: 55.5cm / 21-3/4"
Seat tube, from center of bottom bracket to top of seat tube: 47cm / 18-1/2"

With lots of research and searching, I carefully picked the components that make the complete bike you see now, less the orange Chris King wheels I am keeping. But I put on strong 32-spoke wheels with Deore hubs and Bontrager Ranger rims. The orange Chris King headset is staying with the bike! I am also keeping the front fender (forgot to remove before pics). I assembled everything to perfect specs and torque. This bike looks VINTAGE sweet! But with modern performance, braking, and components... If you are looking at this auction, you likely know how sweet and forgiving a quality steel frame is off road. Not full suspension sweet, but solid and strong. And this one is beautiful as well!

Ideally I hope to find a local pickup buyer in the 22902 Charlottesville, VA area, but will ship. If I box and ship, buyer must pay all shipping and insurance and sale is final, no returns. Some disassembly will be required for shipping in a bike box. I will pack the best I can, but some scrapes or damage may occur in shipping and buyer will have to pursue compensation from UPS if damage results.

Now to the goodies:
Rock Shox 32mm TORA 318 Solo Air 100mm front suspension. Well respected as a quality fork and super tough! Has the "Motion Control" valving. Rebuild parts are everywhere on this popular shock, but no need for a rebuild on this yet. Works great!
Chris King headset - orange
Shimano SLX M-675 hydraulic Disc Brakes - Uses mineral oil and highly rated brakes! Stops beautifully...
180mm rotor in back, 160mm rotor in front.
Shimano SLX Mega-9 9-speed shifter (rear) and 3-speed front shifter (set for 2x 2-speed setting) - Perfect shifting!
Shimano SLX front and rear derailleurs - Super sweet shifting!
All new Shimano shifter cables.
Shimano SLX 2x HollowTech II crankset - Rare version that uses the steel pedal insert. Very hard to find! Super strong! (no pedals included)
RaceFace stem with Answer Expert bar (mango orange) in 31.8 x 685mm
Titec "EL Norte" saddle with super strong and light Nitto 28.6mm seatpost.
Shimano Deore 32-spoke hubs, Bontrager Ranger rims, like new tires. Very smooth bearings, easy rolling.

I built this for my own vintage enjoyment, but I am getting more and more into PLUS tire size mountain bikes and I now have too many bikes! This was meticulously built with proper torques and proper tools. Don't let this pass you by! You don't see bikes like this often...
