I bought this bike new from REI for $1200 and have put less than 500 miles on it. I've made a few essential upgrades that really took this bike to another level:

- Ditched the stock coil fork and installed the Suntour Aion LO-RC (Lockout, Rebound, Low-speed Compression adjustments). The fork was PBs 2015 Value Product of the Year (http://www.pinkbike.com/news/pinkbik...year-2015.html) and has performed flawlessly for me. The travel is internally adjustable from 130mm to 160mm, and I have it set to 140mm which I've found works quite well. I'll be including spacers to take it down to 130mm, along with air volume spacers to adjust how the fork ramps. ($300 value)
- Added a Giant Contact Switch SL 150mm dropper. Going to a dropper is a game-changer! No need to stop and fiddle with your seat height before hitting the descents or starting the climbs. ($300 value)
- Replaced the front brake with a Shimano Deore XT brake and the rear derailer with a SRAM GX ($170 value)
- Upgraded the pedals to Wellgo MG-1 ($50 value)

So in all, I've put about $800 in new parts on this bike. It's in excellent condition with no dings, chips, dents, stratches, etc.

This is an XL so you should be at least 6'1".

Hit me up with any questions!
