* I bought it from the original owner in 2014 and have only used it as a single speed, but the original owner reported that, "The front derailleur mount had a slight crack in it, which was repaired with very strong marine epoxy for carbon/fiberglass repair. It doesn't run the full length of the mount. On the contrary, it only runs about 3-4mm down the side and stops. The epoxy is holding very strong and I can not get any movement to occur when I push or pull on it. I guarantee this will work without any problems unless you smash your front derailleur on a hard object (in which case you would've been screwed with or without a crack!)." He said it had been used since without a single problem. No movement, noise or other issues noticed.

This is a great bike to ride or race. Details available at: http://archive.trekbikes.com/us/en/2...yelite/details

Do you have any pictures available? Particularly of the crack or details of the wear on frame?
