Indestructible Chromoly frame- Check. 29er tires that float over everything- Check. (up to at least 29 x 2.5") Able to run disc brakes, racks, and fenders AT THE SAME TIME- Check. And still totally own the local singletrack? Yep. - Check. Seriously, this bike can do everything. And if it was 2" bigger, it would keep doing everything for me- but I need a bigger frame. I tried an extended seatpost, but 6' is just too tall for a small frame, any way you slice it. Bought for $1499 about a month ago. I only got 6 rides in on this bike - enough to know for sure it's too small for me, but enough for this bike to still be basically brand new. Looking to get 1000, willing to negotiate slightly if necessary. The bugger really is as good as all the reviews say. I own a Trek Cobia as well, decent racing tires, nice RockShox fork, and I enjoy both up AND downhill way more on this bike. This Ogre is being sold strictly to replace with a larger one. I'm only doing a full replacement (as opposed to replacing the frame) because I want to build up a super heavy duty touring wheelset, so I can take my ogre /everywhere/. To summarize: This bike can do everything well, and you can never break it. Go read a few of the million reviews, then come over and ride the bike. A warning, though: if you ride this thing, you're going to love it. Great for commuting and trail riding. And if bikepacking / touring has ever crossed your mind, then there really is nothing better. http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=86651&title=surly-ogre-small-16-quot-29er&cat=5 http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=86651&title=surly-ogre-small-16-quot-29er&cat=5 Tue, 18 Jun 2013 14:39:43 -0700 Shimano XTR / Chub Front Wheelset

by: monty797

Description: Looking for an awesome set of wheels that can handle anything you throw at it? I would estimate it has between 40-50 hours of ride time on it. There are no scratches or dings on the stanchions - aside from some dirt, it looks new. I bought the shock three months ago for my 2012 Santa Cruz Nomad and initially found it a bit under-damped, both compression and rebound. After a few rides I sent it to Push for their 'Factory Tune.' You can spot the push tune by the red eyelet bushings and blue o-ring, but I also have proof of purchase if needed. The tune made all the difference - there was noticeably more control and I no longer had to run tons of air pressure. I've got to say that they did a great job! The shock itself is the top of the line kashima with trail adjust and retails for $400. The Push tune was an additional $200. Note: if you have a different bike, you may want to send it to Push to get it adjusted for the suspension curve of your bike and to a lesser extent, your weight. The shock dimensions are 8.5x2.5 and as mentioned above, the shock is tuned for a Santa Cruz Nomad2 (2010-present). I am including a set of fox volume adjustment spacers as well. I've installed the .6 spacer in the shock, which is the stock Santa Cruz OEM configuration (also recommend by Push). Please note: The decals on the air can corresponding to the type of tune don't really apply as Push changes a lot of the internals. I didn't like the Push decal so I called up Fox and ordered these decals after the tune. Please feel free to ask me any questions. http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=86619&title=2013-fox-ctd-kashima-w-trail-adjust-push-factory-tune&cat=9 http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=86619&title=2013-fox-ctd-kashima-w-trail-adjust-push-factory-tune&cat=9 Mon, 17 Jun 2013 17:20:25 -0700 wanted e.13 xcx d type direct high mount guide

by: gunt pimp

Description: I need an e.13 xcx d type direct high mount guide or parts http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=86618&title=wanted-e-13-xcx-d-type-direct-high-mount-guide&cat=48 http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=86618&title=wanted-e-13-xcx-d-type-direct-high-mount-guide&cat=48 Mon, 17 Jun 2013 16:09:38 -0700 2012 Niner WFO, Large

by: Sean_

Description: For sale is a 2012 Niner WFO, size large. She ended up wanting a different bike. It is in brand new condition. The bike will be professionally boxed and shipped or is available for pickup. Pedals NOT included. I am asking $2300 OBO. Here is a link to the specs on the bike, http://www.diamondback.com/2012-mission Mission frame features & Characteristics: Tapered Head tube – Today’s longer travel forks generate more stress on the head tube. Add in today’s more aggressive rider and the need for additional strength in that region becomes imperative. Thus the 2012 Mission frame is equipped with a tapered head tube for enhanced steering and extra strength. 142×12 mm Thru Axle – Employing Shimano’s new 142×12 mm E-Thru design makes for a stiffer and stronger rear-end on the bike. Single-Sided Hardware – Single-sided oversized heat treated hardware is used for the three main pivot points allows for easy access to your 14 high-quality Enduro Max bearings simply with standard tools. No more removing the crankset to tighten or service your pivots. Knuckle Box Technology LOW AND TIGHT – The Knuckle Box platform was designed specifically to be low and tight: Low center of gravity: All suspension parts are positioned farther down on the frame for a stable and balanced ride. Low leverage suspension design: Lower air pressure results in longer shock life, less frame loading and better pedaling. Tight, compact linkage system of the Knuckle Box bell crank isolates and cradles the rear shock. Tight and large anodized aluminum hardware, matched with Force-Rated Enduro Max Bearings: Withstands higher loads and better handles oscillating motion. The Mission has a matte gray finish and comes in SM (15.5"), MD (17"), LG (19"), XL (21") sizes. Make no mistake; the 2012 Mission is built for almost everything under the sun. If you want to pedal to the top and descend back down with the confidence of a lion, then the Mission is the bike for you! Paypal or pickup only. Shipping is not included in the sale price, but I’ll charge actual costs. I think the prices are reasonable, but I need to make some room in the garage so if you feel I’m off the mark, feel free to make an offer. I won’t bother responding to anything absurd. Drivetrain 1. Surly Mr. Whirly Crankset. Used with some scuffs and scrapes, but functions perfectly. Includes the 58/94mm spider, both 68/73 and 100mm spindles (fat bike), a 30t ring, a Salsa tooth fairy bash, a spare inner chainring (ground down as described below), and brand spanking new rings in 22t (race face) and 32t (spot) sizes. All it needs is a bottom bracket and you’ll be ready to rock. I love this crankset, but unfortunately it doesn’t play nicely with my frame (Rumblefish), which has a press-fit bottom bracket. Well, it works, but I can’t run an inner ring. I tried- in the pictures you can see where I filed down the spacers, bolts, and inner ring, but there clearance wasn’t spectacular. I tried to make it work, but during a ride one of the bolts loosened up and gouged the outside of the frame all around the BB. I’ve been trying to make do with the middle ring, but I need something slightly easier for the steepest, longest climbs. I’m looking to switch to an X9 crankset with a single direct mount ring. I’d consider a trade, or else $130 for the complete package. Given the retail price of the crankset, spider, spindles, bash, and spare rings, this is a screaming deal for someone who is looking for flexibility in their setup 2. XT Crankset. Square taper, 180mm length, comes with a truvativ BB ~113mm spindle. Currently set up as a double with an aluminium bash. This model has a removable spider, which makes it really versatile. You can get different spiders to run rings of different BCD’s. The current setup is 110/74mm BCD with 24t/34t rings. $40 3. Truvativ Touro Crankset. Square taper, includes used rings, missing some bolts. 130/74mm BCD. $10. 4. Truvativ Hussefelt Crankset. Single ring with bash, with ISIS BB. Cranks have seen lots of use. Threads could be chased, but are functional. The BB spins, but on the rough side. $10. 5. Ritchey ISIS crankset. 170mm arms. $10. 6. SLX Front shifter. Brand new. $10. If you want the rear (9 speed), which has been used but works fine, I’d sell both for $30. Package with used XT rear der., cassette, and chain for $100. PENDING 7. XT Direct Mount Front Derailleur. XT-M771, 66-69 seat tube angles. $25 8. BMX splined Crankset. Free to a good home. 9. Mountain Tamer Triple. http://abundantadventures.com/quads.html Free to a good home. Brakes 10. Avid Juicy rear brake. SOLD 11. Magura Julie Front brake. SOLD Control Parts 12. Mary On-One Handlebar. Used for several seasons, but in good shape. $15 13. Flat Handlebar. Ritchey Comp, 580mm width. $10 14. Riser Bar. No brand, 585mm wide. $5. Stems: Lengths have been measured, angles are approximate unless stated otherwise. If you need a more exact angle, let me know and I will get it for you. 15. WTB 90mm @ 15 degrees (exact). 1.125” steerer, 25.4mm clamp. $12. 16. Bontrager Sport 60mm @10 degrees. 1.125” steerer, 26mm clamp. $15. 17. Bontrager Select 110mm @ 10 degrees. 1.125” steerer, 26mm clamp. $15. 18. Dimension 50mm @ 40 degrees. 1.125” steerer, 25.4mm clamp. $12. 19. Ritchey Adjustable. $10 20. Vintage Kore single bolt, silver. 120mm @ 1.125” steerer, 25.4mm clamp. $5. 21. Satori brand steerer tube extender. This is an odd bit that can be used to extend a steerer tube upwards to raise one's handlebars. Not meant for serious mountain riding, but it can do the trick if you need such a thing. $10. Seat Posts 22. Bontrager Big Earl Seatpost, 31.6mm diameter, no offset. Brand new, just ridden around the block. $15. 23. Kalloy suspension seatpost, 27.2mm. $3 24. Kalloy 26.8mm seatpost. Free to a good home. Pedals 25. Time atac cleats, brand new in package with bolts. $18. 26. Time Z-controls. SOLD 27. Time Alium pedals. $15. 28. Time atac carbon pedals. The right pedal works fine, but the left one has a cracked plate and was repaired with JB weld at one point to keep the spring from slipping against its stop. I would consider it as a single pedal with spare parts. $10 29. Shimano SPD pedals. SOLD Random 30. Topeak Quick Release Beam Rack. Some scrapes, but works fine. $10. 31. Mavic 721 rim. Older model, but never been used. 32h. $10? Would rather sell this locally. 32. THE helmet, black. I bought it when I dreamed of tearing up the not-so-local jumps. The distant pump track, my nonexistent skills, and my large noggin mean that this helmet would be great for someone out there with a smaller-sized melon with grand aspirations. Free to a good home. 33. Scarpa Spirit 3 AT ski boots. Size 29. Used twice for a total of an hour and a half. $325/obo. This bike inspires confidence, I can't tell you how many times I should have gone down only to have this amazing bike pull me through it. Trouble is, I don't really do this kind of biking anymore. I started riding road, bought an XC bike and stopped doing super D/AM stuff. I wish I had room to keep this one around but she has to go. I've done a couple XC and endurance races on her but she just wasn't made for that. Please give this awesome all mountain machine a good home! She has a couple small scrapes and the usual cable rub spots but no significant damage. I am a professional bike mechanic with several years of experience. I have taken care of the bike since I bought it, this thing is ready to go! Specs: Ellsworth Moment Frame, size large, ICT, beadblast black finish, 6 inch travel.
