It turns out I like riding a rigid single speed way more than I thought and don't ride this very much. I probably have 30-40 rides total on this bike. Never crashed, 100% structurally sound. There is a down tube protector sticker and a bunch of helicopter tape on the frame. There is one tiny spot where a cable rubbed some of the black paint of the top of the fork crown. See photos. It is mostly stock, but I changed a few things out. Bars- wider Bontrager rhythm bars. They're pretty darn wide at 720mm. Grips -- Odi ruffian lock ons Tires -- the stock tires literally exploded in a week. The front is a nearly new specialized ground control, the back is a so-so geax saguaro. Both are set up tubeless with fresh Stans. The fork had a warranty n issue with the lock out, it was warrantied and has a brand new C-T-D cartridge in it. Works great, no problems. Seatpost- I upgraded to a carbon Fizik Cyrano. You'll like it. But if not I'm including 2 aluminum seatposts, the stock Syncos (setback) and a straight crankbrothers. You can spin the Cyrano around if you have short femurs, or want to do time trials? Brakes- new pads in the rear, front is still good. The seat was on a different bike for a while and has a small tear in the back. see photo Drivetrain/brakes/wheels are stock ~PEDALS NOT INCLUDED~ http://www.scott-sports.com/us/en/products/227710/SCOTT-Scale-920-Bike/ http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=95275&title=scott-scale-920-carbon-xt-19inch&cat=38 http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=95275&title=scott-scale-920-carbon-xt-19inch&cat=38 Thu, 28 Aug 2014 17:42:20 -0700 2011 DT Swiss M1800 29er wheelset tubeless WTB Vigilantes, 15QR, 142x12 or 135mm QR

by: zuuds

Description: DT Swiss M1800 29er wheelset (purchased new in November 2011). 15QR front. Includes about $200 worth of extras (both 135 QR and 142x12 end caps for the rear hub, WTB Vigilante 2.3 TCS AM tires, Bontrager tubeless rim strips, and Stan's removable core tubeless valves.) RWS rear skewer and all factory paperwork included. The wheels consist of 350 hubs (ratchet drive rear), DT Comp butted spokes, and M520 rims (external width 26.2 mm, internal width 19.5 mm). Excellent used condition, they spin true, the freehub is smooth, no issues. Tires are in very good condition with plenty of life left. The center lugs in the rear tire are naturally more worn, I measured a few. In the rear, they are around 2.5-3.5mm tall, in the front the center lugs are around 3.5mm-4.5mm tall. Minimal cosmetic nicks here and there, some smushes in the rim stickers from roof rack straps, and normal nicks on the aluminum freehub splines from having a cassette on it. $349 + actual shipping cost. The frame size is medium and it was designed for 650B (27.5") wheels. The frame and fork are both in excellent condition and were only ridden for a few months. The sale includes the frame, Fox fork (upgraded - see below), DT Swiss shock, TwinLoc remote, headset, stem, handlebars, lock on grips, bottom bracket, seat post, seat post collar, saddle, front direct mount derailleur and rear axle (two axle options). I will include the standard 135x9mm quick release dropouts and axle or the 142x12mm thru axle dropouts and axle. Both 9mm and 12mm axles are DT Swiss RWS thru axle style. All of the included components listed above are the stock components that can be seen on the following website: http://www.evanscycles.com/products/scott/genius-740-2013-650b-mountain-bike-ec042332 The included front derailleur is a Shimano SLX 3x10, but I can also switch it out for a Shimano XT 2x10 front derailleur. I also have a rear Shimano XT 10 speed derailleur that I can include a for a little extra money. **IMPORTANT FORK UPGRADE INFORMATION** The Scott Genius 740 came with a 2013 Fox Float Evolution 34 150mm fork. Shortly after I received the bike, the fork lost all compression and rebound damping. I contacted Fox and they told me that the fork had been recalled and they offered to fix it for free. They also offered to upgrade the internals to the current (far superior) 2014 Fox Float FIT CTD with Trail Adjust for an extra $100. I decided to pay for the upgrade. So fork has the same lowers and uppers but the internals have been upgraded by FOX to the 2014 FIT CTD with Trail Adjust. When they did the upgrade I asked them to replace the remote operated CTD function with the standard lever operated CTD. So the handlebar TwinLoc remote currently only operates the rear shock and is not connected to the fork. However, Fox sent back all of the parts that are need to convert the fork back to remote operation so it can be used with the TwinLoc remote. The process to convert it back can be found on the Fox website and is very easy to do. The price is $1,300 plus the actual cost of shipping. Paypal only. And, IT'S ALMOST BRAND NEW! I bought the bike new in 2008, went to war, got injured, recovered, went to war again, had to get my spine fused, and here I am. I'd be surprised if the bike has much over 100-150 miles on it. This is an AMAZING bike--I'm just too damaged to ride this race/xc bike like it deserves to be ridden. The bike's condition is almost perfect--it's Excellent Plus--very, very close to As-New condition (seriously-- a few TINY scratches on the middle of the handlebar (where the computer would mount), one small scratch on the stem faceplate and that's about it). It's a great climber, descends like a demon, and the Magura brakes are the best I've ever used-- no fade due to the large rotors and great, great modulation. - FRAME: FSR FACT M9 carbon front triangle, Az1 construction, M5 rear triangle, full cartridge bearing pivots and rear shock mount, magnesium shock link, carbon reservoir mount. - REAR SHOCK: Specialized AFR Brain Shock w/ Flow Control valve, remotely adjustable Trail Tune/Brain Fade, and adjustable rebound. 120mm rear travel. - FORK: Fox Talas RLC, adjustable 100-140mm. And yes, it's not one of them new 29ers. And yes, it uses V-brakes instead of disc. But it is a sweet Titanium frame and served me well for many years. I hate to let it go, but am stepping up to full suspension. Set is up as rigid, single speed, hardtail, suspension seatpost, trail bike, townie bike, camping bike... it has done it all. it has some nicks, mainly on the chainstay, but nothing that would compromise strength. Shortly after it was built I injured my foot in an unrelated to cycling way and it doesn't look like I'll be riding bikes like this anymore. The bike is collecting dust and should go to a good home and rider. It's got the best of everything on it. . .XTR, Enve bars and Syncros carbon wheels. I think it weighed 23.75 lbs when I weighed it last year. It would be a great race bike but it's just a comfortable, all day long, forgiving, high end trail bike. It's a deal on a like new bike with these parts. I'll have it pro boxed and shipped anywhere in the US by my local shop.....good guys and will take care. It also includes an air chamber volume reducing kit (to make the fork more or less progressive like the RS bottomless tokens). If you are not familiar with it you can read more about it at Pushindustries.com I purchased this fork when I purchased a new bike last fall. It rides great. Stiff, buttery smooth and is supple on the small bumps but also has great mid stroke support and the ability to take big hits...due the improvements from Push Industries. I decided this year that I have too many bikes that kinda overlap in duty. I don't have the need for a 160mm fork right now and I just sold the frame that this fork was on, so now I am listing the fork. This is a 160mm fork, internally adjustable to 150mm. With our winter in Colorado and having other bikes that I ride, this fork hasn't seen many rides at all. It's in great shape with no scratches on the stanchions and it works beautifully. Please let me know if you have any questions. http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=94519&title=2013-fox-float-34-ctd-160mm-push-upgraded-27-5-650b-fork&cat=8 http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showproduct.php?product=94519&title=2013-fox-float-34-ctd-160mm-push-upgraded-27-5-650b-fork&cat=8 Mon, 25 Aug 2014 13:05:08 -0700 Santa Cruz Tallboy Carbon, Size Large, Custom Build

by: cragdaddy

Description: Custom Build Excellent condition New drivetrain Size Large Monarch Rear shock Fox Front shock Easton Carbon AM wheels (lighter than my ENVE XC) XT Drivetrain (new) (sent old drive train to other bike) XT Brakes (new) (sent old brakes to other bike) Options for stems (willing to fit you to bike) Options for seat posts (could swap for dropper post) Call/email with questions. This should be a good fit for someone between 5'9" and 6'2". Santa Cruz is new for running a small top tube. It is new and has only been ridden around the parking lot for a test ride. It does not look like I will be racing this year after all and there is no point in keeping it in the garage. I bought this bike for $4700 tax.
